My son who is almost 10 has so many excellent memories of Highgate Montessori at Pond Square and still talks about his experience there with so much affection.
He is doing really well at his current school and I really appreciate the excellent grounding that Carole and her team ensured he received. Despite my family having to relocate, I could not consider for a minute sending my daughter anywhere else but to Carole as I felt she provided a uniquely magical place.
I was absolutely delighted with every aspect of my children’s time at Monty’s and found it to be an inspirational, unique environment which provided my children with the best possible start to their education.
Carole employed staff who had the ability to get to know each child and she ensured that they treated them with respect, warmth and affection, providing them with an excellent standard of care.
As a working mother, it’s a huge relief to know that when I picked my child up from school they would have had a fun-filled, educational day with lots of time spent in the fresh air. Also, the fact that they had lunch at a table set with linens and flowers. I loved the fact that every little detail was so well thought out and that the children are taught to be independent and considerate and I could always tell when my son had had a Grace and Courtesy lesson!
Experiencing a Mother’s Day or Father’s Day was an amazing thing with the children delighting in the preparations and the parents getting thoroughly spoilt. When my son was confined to the house with chicken pox and was really upset to be missing out on the Mother’s Day breakfast celebration there was a knock at the door and we were amazed to receive a delivery by cab of the Mother’s Day breakfast and present on a beautifully laid tray so we didn’t miss out. That level of caring about one child’s feelings was truly going above and beyond and is something that I and my son will never forget. The first time I experienced their Chinese New Year or Diwali celebrations I was amazed at the lengths Carole and her staff had gone to by completely transforming the hall and themselves. That level of passion and enthusiasm permeates every aspect of their interactions with the children.
It was worth every minute of my 75 mins morning school run!
I would not hesitate for one minute in sending my children to Highgate Montessori.
